Between the covid-19 pandemic, the stressors of politics, the rise in mass shootings, are just a few examples of what has drove more people than ever to seek mental health services in this country. This episode we focus on how to keep those in the mental health field from breaking down themselves and maintaining a healthy work life balance. Burnout prevention expert Brittany Hoover ABD, LPC, CCTP, MA, NCC shares with us her research and evidence-based interventions on this topic. She holds a doctorate from the Indiana State University of Pennsylvania and is a doctoral candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision.
